BRIEF

A new front driveway design with garden elements and a Mediterranean courtyard. The driveway needed updating both practically and visually and the courtyard was to be a relaxing sensory space outside a new garage gym

SOLUTION

A re-designed and re-surfaced space for cars to park and turn with greater space, delineation to planting beds, new lawn and improved planting tying all into a new garage gym out-building

OUTCOME

A space which feels and looks contemporary however is perfectly at home in a sub-urban Surrey village/town. The planting is gentle yet hardy, spaces are clearly defined, easy to maintain and use with an interesting palette of hard materials, especially the Mediterranean courtyard with its warmer clay pavers, oak sleepers, olive, herbs and water features
