Garden Infrastructure Planning - 2018
We had Anthony over to help us with an initial consultation ahead of our building extension works. We wanted his advice regarding infrastructure planning for the garden spaces immediate to our extension - this meant we could not only plan our budgets for the landscaping works in advance but we could also discuss efficiency gains to be had with Anthony by using trades, access and materials from the building works to facilitate some of the landscaping at the same time. We were also able to use much of Anthony’s knowledge allowing our architects and builders to adjust their plans for drainage, irrigation, lighting, power and hardscaping. Needless to say, we will be using Anthony to design our garden once we can point a new budget to it; he communicates well, is trustworthy, knowledgable and consistently over delivers.

Rural Cottage Modernisation - 2018
Working with Anthony has been a pleasure and very easy from start to finish. His non-pushy attitude is refreshing and he took the time to listen to our ideas before coming up with a design for our front and back gardens. Sloping Rear Garden - Post House Extension - 2018
We are planning an extension to our property which will require the garden to be redesigned and so decided to use Anthony to help us with that. Anthony spent time with us both talking through what we want and need from our garden. It was really helpful to do this as it encouraged us to step back and think about it in a way that we would not have done on our own. Anthony was easy to talk to and work with and we felt he really listened to us. Following a detailed survey, Anthony presented us with a concept drawing for discussion. We spent over an hour with him talking it through and understanding the design which was thorough and well thought through, incorporating our needs/ desires for the garden. We were really pleased with what Anthony designed for us, but there were areas we challenged and we really appreciated Anthony's collaborative and open minded approach in talking these through as opposed to being completely wedded to what he has designed. It really felt like a two way approach. We would happily recommend Anthony's skill and services.

"After 20+ years of living in the same house which had undergone numerous changes over the years, the garden was due a ‘makeover’ it had served us well as a family garden but our needs had changed (along with the ability to manage it) therefore time to look for an ‘expert’… Anthony Arnold of Emerging Landscapes stood out from others with the time he took to listen and understand our needs, wishes and not least, budget constraints. His approach is collaborative, very important as we wished to retain a few existing features which he needed to incorporate in the design.
